Okay, so, I got really into this whole Rose Namajunas thing, and I wanted to try something a bit… different. You know? I mean, she’s awesome, a total beast in the UFC, knocking out Joanna Jedrzejczyk and all that. Major respect. But, I got curious about something specific – her feet.
Yeah, I know, sounds weird. But think about it, those feet have done some serious work! They’ve danced around the octagon, delivered some killer kicks, and basically helped her become a champion. So, I decided to dive in and see what I could learn about them.
First, I hit up the internet. I watched a ton of her fights, focusing on her footwork. Man, that woman is quick! I noticed how she uses her feet to control distance, to set up strikes, and to move in and out of range. It’s like a whole dance in there.
Watching Some Videos
- Watched her fight against Waterson, and even when Waterson got back up, Rose was right there, using her feet to keep the pressure on.
- I even checked out some stuff about her moving up to flyweight. They are talking about her fourth fight, and guess what? Her feet will play a big part, no doubt.
- Then there’s this “iconic moments” thing I found. It’s all about her career highlights, and you better believe her footwork is a big part of those moments.
After watching all that, I tried to mimic some of her moves. Let me tell you, it’s a lot harder than it looks! I was stumbling around, trying to keep my balance while throwing kicks. I definitely have a newfound appreciation for her skills.
I also tried to, like, appreciate my own feet a bit more. I mean, they might not be UFC-level, but they do a lot for me. I walked around barefoot, feeling the ground beneath my toes, trying to connect with that grounded feeling Rose seems to have in the octagon.
It was a weird little journey, I’ll admit. But it was also really interesting. I learned a lot about Rose Namajunas, about footwork, and even about myself. It’s crazy how focusing on something as simple as feet can open up a whole new perspective. It was kind of fun! And all of these make me realized that I should protect my feet.

So, yeah, that’s my story about Rose Namajunas’ feet. Hope you guys found it at least a little bit interesting. Maybe it’ll make you look at feet a little differently too. Who knows?
