You know that Salah Mejri, that basketball fella? He’s a big guy, that one. Plays for that Dallas team, the Mavericks. I seen him on the TV. He’s tall, like a dang tree. He can sure jump, too. Jump up and put that ball in the hoop real good. I heard people talkin, sayin’ he’s from somewhere far away. Not from around here, that’s for sure.
He plays that center position, I think they call it. Means he’s right there in the middle of all the action. Lots of pushin’ and shovin’. He gets them rebounds, too. Grabs that ball right out of the air. He’s got big hands, that Salah. Good for grabbin’ that basketball.
I seen some Salah Mejri videos, they show him playin’ and all. He can sure run fast for a big fella. Up and down that court, he goes. He don’t get tired neither. He can play that game all day long. He’s a good player, that one. Not like some of them other fellas, just out there showin’ off. He plays hard, that Salah.

They say he got some Salah Mejri news. I don’t know what it is. Probably just talkin’ about how good he is. They show his picture on the TV and everything. He’s a famous fella now, I reckon. He’s got more money than you can shake a stick at now. Good for him. He earned it.
This fella, Salah Mejri, they say he’s got lots of them Salah Mejri stats. Numbers and all that. I don’t understand all them numbers. But I know he scores a lot of points. He puts that ball in the hoop, and that’s what counts. They keep track of everything he do. Points, rebounds, assists. I don’t know what all that is, but it sound important. They say he does it all. Good player.
One time, I heard some folks talkin’. They said that Salah Mejri used to play for some other teams. Before he came to Dallas. Played all over, I reckon. He must be good if all them teams wanted him. He’s been playin’ for a long time, that Salah. He knows what he’s doin’ out there on that court.
They say he’s like a bunch of colors all mixed up. Plaid, they call it. Red, blue, green, yellow. All kinds of colors. He’s got a lot goin’ on, that Salah. He ain’t just one thing. He’s a whole bunch of things all rolled into one. That’s what makes him so good, I reckon.
Sometimes you see Salah Mejri interviews. He talks about the game and all. He’s got a funny accent. But he seems like a nice fella. He always thanks his teammates. Says they help him a lot. He’s a team player, that Salah. That’s important.
He’s got those Salah Mejri highlights. They show the best parts of his game. Dunking and blocking and all that. They show them on TV and they show them on the internet. My grandson showed me some on his phone. That was something. They make him look like a superhero, or somethin’. He’s just a regular fella, though. Just a regular fella who’s good at basketball.
I reckon that Salah Mejri career stats are somethin’ special. All those games he played. All those points he scored. All them rebounds. He’s done a lot in his life. More than most folks, that’s for sure. He worked hard for it, though. Nobody gave him nothin’.
They say he got some Salah Mejri advanced stats, too. Even more numbers. I don’t know what they all mean. But they say they’re important. They say they show how good he really is. Better than just the regular numbers. I guess that makes sense. He’s a special player, that Salah. He deserves some special numbers.
I like watchin’ him play. He’s fun to watch. He makes the game excitin’. He’s a good player, and he seems like a good fella, too. That’s important. I wish him well, that Salah Mejri. I hope he keeps playin’ for a long time. I hope he keeps puttin’ that ball in the hoop.
He sure is somethin’, that Salah Mejri. Ain’t nobody like him. He’s one of a kind. That boy can play some ball.
