Alright, so I wanted to share my whole experience trying to get tickets for the Dodgers parade at Dodger Stadium. I’m a huge Dodgers fan, and after they won the World Series against the Yankees on October 30th, I knew I had to be there to celebrate with the team.

First, I started checking the Dodgers’ official website regularly. I heard that the tickets would go on sale on October 31, 2024, so I marked it on my calendar. I knew that it was going to be a big event, especially after reading that an estimated two million fans attended the last parade, and 40,000 of that filled the Dodger Stadium, so I expected these tickets to sell out super fast.
On October 31st, I was on the website early in the morning, constantly refreshing the page. I was so nervous that I’d miss out. Finally, the tickets went on sale, and I quickly added them to my cart and checked out. I managed to get two tickets, one for me and one for my best friend, who’s also a die-hard Dodgers fan.
Here’s what I did step-by-step:
- Checked the Dodgers’ website: I kept an eye on the official site for any announcements about the parade and ticket sales.
- Marked my calendar: I made sure to remember that the tickets would go on sale on October 31st.
- Got online early: On the day of the sale, I was on the website bright and early, ready to go.
- Refreshed the page: I kept refreshing the ticket page until the tickets became available.
- Bought the tickets: I quickly added the tickets to my cart and completed the purchase as fast as possible.
After securing the tickets, I started planning for the day of the parade. I found out that the parade route would be about 1.2 miles long and the whole event would take around 45 minutes. I also learned that the stadium’s parking gates would open at 8:30 a.m., and the entry gates would open at 9 a.m. They also said there would be food and merchandise available, and some entertainment before the team arrived.
On the day of the parade, my friend and I got to the stadium super early. We wanted to make sure we got good parking and had enough time to soak in the atmosphere. We entered the stadium at 9 a.m. and found our seats. It was amazing to see so many fans dressed in blue, all excited and ready to celebrate.
There was a bunch of entertainment inside the stadium before the team arrived. They had music, videos on the big screen, and lots of fun stuff to keep us hyped up. Around 12:15 p.m., the parade wrapped up, and the team finally arrived at the stadium. The energy was electric! Seeing the players, their families, and everyone else who worked so hard to win the World Series was just incredible.

It was such a memorable experience, and I’m so glad I put in the effort to get those tickets. Celebrating with the team and thousands of other fans at Dodger Stadium was something I’ll never forget. If you ever get a chance to attend a championship parade, definitely go for it. It’s worth all the hassle!
