Okay, so I stumbled upon this guy named Scott Wilkinson while I was digging around for some home theater stuff. I mean, I’m no expert, but this dude seems to be everywhere when it comes to audio and video gear.

First, I bumped into this podcast called “AVSForum Tech Talk.” Guess who’s hosting it? Yep, Scott Wilkinson. It’s like he’s the go-to guy for anything related to home theaters. This particular podcast was episode 19, so he’s been doing this for a while, I guess.
Then I found out that he’s been writing and editing stuff in the home theater world for like 20 years! No wonder he knows his stuff. He’s even the editor for some website, and an online editor for something else, but the names escape me.
And get this, he used to have this show called “Home Theater Geeks,” but it disappeared for 5 years. Now it’s back! I haven’t listened to it yet, but it’s supposed to be all about audio/video news, tips, and tricks. Sounds pretty useful, right?
I also found a video of him talking at something called “Display Week 2022” for AVS Forum. It was some bi-monthly tech talk thing. I didn’t watch the whole thing, but he was talking about all sorts of displays. The guy really is all about the tech.
My Little Adventure With Scott’s Stuff
- Started with a podcast: I found the AVSForum Tech Talk, which led me to Scott.
- Realized he’s a veteran: 20 years in the home theater game? That’s some serious experience.
- Found his old show: Home Theater Geeks is back after a hiatus. I need to check that out.
- Saw him at a tech event: He was at Display Week 2022, talking about displays.
So yeah, that’s my little journey into the world of Scott Wilkinson. I just wanted to share my findings. If you’re into home theaters or just like geeking out about audio and video stuff, you might want to check him out. He seems to know a thing or two.

Anyways, I just thought I’d put this out there. Maybe it’ll help someone else who’s trying to figure out this whole home theater thing. It’s a wild world out there, but folks like Scott make it a little easier to navigate.
