You know, that SFV650 Suzuki, that’s the name, right? Heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. Sounds like a right fancy motorcycle. They say it’s a good one, but what do I know? I just hear things.

They say it used to be called something else… Glad… Gladius, I think? Sounds like a gladiator’s sword, don’t it? Now it’s just SFV650, plain and simple. Easier to remember, I reckon. Some fellers were saying it’s like that old SV650, but a little different. Like when you add a pinch more sugar to your tea. Just a little bit better, they say. This SFV650 Suzuki is a good bike, I heard.
One fella, he was goin’ on and on about how smooth it rides. Said it’s got more power, too. Don’t ask me what that means, I just nod along. But if it makes him happy, that’s good enough for me. He was sayin’ you can ride it for a long, long time, all day, maybe even more. Ride it on those bumpy roads, too, like the one goin’ down to Miller’s farm. That road’s a mess, but this SFV650, he said it can handle it. This Suzuki motorcycle is tough, I guess.
Now, they changed some things on it, from what I hear. Something about a steel frame. Don’t know what that is, but it sounds strong. Like old Bessie’s fence, that thing’s been standin’ for years. It’s important to have a strong motorcycle, if you’re gonna be ridin’ it all over the place. You don’t want it fallin’ apart on ya!
- Strong like a bull, that’s what they say.
- Smooth like butter on a hot biscuit.
- Can go all day, like old man Johnson’s stories.
- Handles bumpy roads like a champ.
Some young fella was askin’ if it’s good for new riders. Well, I don’t know about that. Seems like a lot of machine for someone just startin’ out. But what do I know? If you’re careful and you learn proper, maybe it’s alright. Just gotta be respectful of it, like you would a wild horse. This Suzuki SFV650 is powerful, I reckon.
They were talkin’ about the price, too. Five thousand somethin’ dollars. That’s a lot of money! Could buy a whole lot of chickens for that kind of money. But I guess if you want a fancy motorcycle, you gotta pay for it. It’s like anything else, you get what you pay for. Still, $5499 for SFV650 Suzuki, that’s expensive.

They said this SFV650 Suzuki is good for twisty roads. Like the one that goes up to the old mill. Lots of curves and turns. Sounds like fun, if you’re into that sort of thing. Me, I prefer a straight path. Less chance of gettin’ lost. The seat is small, they say, but the brakes, they work good. Good brakes are important, I tell ya that.
One thing’s for sure, they don’t make ’em like they used to. But this SFV650, it seems like a good one. Strong, reliable, that’s what you want. And if it can handle those bumpy roads around here, that’s sayin’ somethin’. If you are new, this SFV650 Suzuki might be good for you. Just be careful.
This bike, the Suzuki, they brought it back after it went away for a while. Like when Mildred’s cat ran off, but then came back a week later, fatter than ever. They stopped callin’ it Gladius, though. Just SFV650 now. Keeps things simple, I suppose. Folks say it’s good for long trips. Like drivin’ to the state fair, only faster, I imagine.
If you see one of these SFV650 Suzuki bikes, take a good look. Might be worth your time, especially if you like to ride. Me, I’ll stick to my old truck. It gets me where I need to go, even if it is a bit slower. But for you young folks, this motorcycle might be just the ticket. It’s a good bike, I hear, this Suzuki. A good, strong bike.
