Okay, so I’ve been on this quest, right? To snag a shiny Mega Latias. And let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I’ve gone through it and want to keep a note for my future self, wish it can be a bit helpful.
The Hunt Begins
First, I fired up the game. The usual, you know? Made sure I had my team ready, plenty of Ultra Balls, and a whole lot of patience. Because let’s be real, finding shinies is like searching for a needle in a haystack… a very, very big haystack.
Setting the Stage
I remembered reading somewhere that you have a better shot during special events, And I was right. So when I saw a Mega Latias raid, I know that was it. It’s game time!
Raid Battles Galore
This is where the grind really started. I joined raid after raid. Sometimes, it was a breeze, other times, the entire team got wiped out. Super frustrating, to be honest. We battled with other trainers, each of us trying to take down that massive Mega Latias.
After that, I used Golden Razz Berries. It helps a lot when you try to catch Pokemon.
The Shiny Appears!
Then, after countless attempts, it happened. The Mega Latias on my screen… it was different. That familiar purple? Gone. Replaced with this awesome, vibrant, I can not say it is golden or orang. It was a shiny!
Catching the Prize
My heart was pounding. This was it. I threw those Ultra Balls like my life depended on it. And after a few nail-biting throws, click! I caught it. I actually caught a shiny Mega Latias! My hands were shaking, I’m not gonna lie.
Victory!
I finally got it! I can now add it to my shiny collection. I can show it to my friends. It was a total mix of luck, persistence, and maybe a little bit of magic. But hey, that’s what makes these hunts so addicting, right?
