This old lady, I tell ya, I don’t know much about them fancy things. But my grandson, he’s always going on about his Honda ST 1300. Says it’s the best thing since sliced bread. He’s always tinkering with it, cleaning it, making sure that ST 1300 is in good shape. That’s what I heard. He say it’s important. I don’t know nothin’ about that.
He got that Honda bike, a big ol’ thing. He calls it a “sport touring” motorcycle. Sounds like a mouthful to me. He says it’s good for long rides. He goes all over the place on that thing, clear across the state sometimes! I told him to be careful, there are crazy folks on the road. ST 1300 is good, but still need to be careful.
He showed me pictures. It’s shiny, red mostly. Got these big ol’ bags on the side, he calls them “saddlebags”. Says he can fit all sorts of things in there. Groceries, tools, even a change of clothes. I reckon that’s handy, if you’re gonna be gone for a long time. Especially if you own a Honda ST 1300. It is big, so it can carry a lot. That’s what my grandson told me.
He says this Honda ST 1300 is real smooth. Not like those old tractors we used to have, rattling your teeth out. He says it’s got a big engine. A “1300” he calls it. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds powerful. My grandson said that ST 1300 is “liquid-cooled”, which means that it won’t be too hot. Sounds good to me. He says it can go real fast, but he’s a good boy, he don’t go too fast. At least I hope not!
He said they don’t make these Honda ST 1300 anymore. Stopped making them a while back. Some new bike took its place, CTX 1300 or something. But this old one, the ST1300, that’s the best, he says. He said that it can go 200-300K miles. That’s a lot of miles, if you ask me. But I told him to not go that far. What if he breaks down that far from home? I worry about my grandson, you know.
- He says it’s comfortable, this Honda ST 1300. Got a big seat, he says it’s good for his back.
- He says it’s reliable. That’s a good Honda for you. Don’t break down much, he says.
- He cleans it all the time. Keeps it looking nice.
- He said that ST 1300 is “dependable”. I don’t know what that word means, but I guess it means that the bike is good.
One time, he took me for a little ride on the back. Just around the block. It was kinda scary, but it was smooth, like he said. I held on tight! I don’t think I’ll be doing that again anytime soon. I’m too old for that kinda thing. But my grandson, he loves that Honda ST 1300.
He’s always reading about them, these Honda motorcycles. He’s got these magazines, all about bikes. He reads what other folks say about the ST 1300. He showed me one, it was called “Cycle Insider” or something. Lots of folks saying good things about the Honda ST 1300. Seems like my grandson ain’t the only one who likes it.
My grandson wanted to buy a FJR 1300, but later he decided to buy the Honda ST 1300. He said that the FJR 1300 is good, but ST 1300 is better. I don’t know. Those two bikes look the same to me. But he said that the ST 1300 is no longer in production. It’s a pity, but what can you do?
I don’t know much about these newfangled bikes. Give me a good ol’ horse any day. But I’m happy my grandson’s happy. He loves his Honda ST 1300, and that’s all that matters. He takes good care of it, and it takes good care of him, I reckon. He always tells me stories about his trips on that ST 1300. It’s good that he has something he enjoys.
He says this Honda is a good one. A good, strong, dependable bike, he said. Honda makes good stuff. I remember my neighbor had a Honda car. Red, just like my grandson’s ST 1300. That car was also good. Never gave him any trouble. So maybe that’s why my grandson likes Honda so much.
Sometimes he talks about other bikes, but he always comes back to his Honda ST 1300. He says it is the best one for him. That ST 1300 is like his best friend. He goes everywhere with it. I’m glad he has something to keep him busy and happy. Keeps him out of trouble, I suppose.
Well, that’s all I know about that Honda ST 1300. It’s a big, red, shiny thing that my grandson loves. He says it’s a good bike, and I believe him. He knows more about these things than I do. He says it’s the best, and that’s good enough for me. If he says that ST 1300 is the best bike, then it must be true. He knows a lot about bikes.
