Alright, folks, let’s talk about my little adventure trying to figure out this whole “POE crossplay” thing. I’m not the most tech-savvy person, but I love Path of Exile, and I really wanted to play with my buddies who are on different platforms.

Digging In
So, first things first, I started poking around. I wanted to see if it was even a possibility. I mean playing on the same platform is cool, but to get us all online together would be something else.
The Setup
I jumped onto my PC, fired up the game, and started looking through the settings. Nothing obvious jumped out at me. Then, I hopped on my PlayStation, thinking maybe it was a console-specific setting. Nope, still nothing. I’m no expert, so it felt like looking for a needle in a digital haystack.
Experiment Time
I got creative. I had my PC running the game, and I logged into my PlayStation account on the console. I figured maybe if I tried to invite myself, something magical would happen. Wishful thinking, I know. I tried sending invites back and forth, messing around with the friend lists, basically anything I could think of. It felt a bit silly, but hey, you gotta try, right?
The Results (Or Lack Thereof)
After all that messing around, I didn’t have much to show for it. The invites didn’t go through, and I couldn’t find any way to connect the two accounts. It was a bit of a letdown, honestly. I was really hoping for a breakthrough, but it just didn’t happen, I was kinda bummed, but will keep trying!
