Alright, so today I decided to figure out this whole “Manchester United Football Table” thing. I’m a huge fan, and I always want to know where they stand, but sometimes it’s confusing to find the exact, up-to-date info. So, I figured, why not build something myself?

First, I brainstormed what I really wanted. I wanted something simple, easy to understand, and, most importantly, accurate. I decided I only cared about the Premier League table, nothing else.
Next, I had to find the * was tougher than i thought. Many sites have tables, but getting the raw data in a format I could use… that’s a different story.
- I first checked a few major sports websites, but most just displayed the table visually.
- Then, after much digging, I managed to locate a few sources that offer regularly updated football data.
I copied down the data that I found. Then it’s just some manual entry to put them in order.
I finally got the data and then I put it together to make sense of what the current standings are.
It took a bit of trial and error, but I managed to get a basic table working. It showed the team, games played, wins, draws, losses, goals for, goals against, goal difference, and points. Simple, but effective!

So, yeah, that’s how I tackled the Manchester United football table situation today. It was a fun little project, and now I have a much better grasp of where my team stands! I think I’ll keep updating my notes as the season progresses.
