Alright, let’s talk about this Tara Iti place, ya know? Folks been whisperin’ ’bout it, so I figured I’d tell ya what I heard. Don’t expect no fancy words, I ain’t got none of that.

So, first off, this Tara Iti, it’s a golf thing. Yeah, golf. You know, that game where them rich fellas hit a little white ball with a stick? That’s the one. But this ain’t no ordinary golf place, no sirree. This here’s a fancy-pants club, real exclusive.
They say some fella, Tom Doak his name is, he built this place. He’s a big shot architect, whatever that means. He made it real nice, I guess. It’s right by the beach, near some town called Mangawhai. Heard it’s a real pretty spot, clean and all.
- Fancy and Private: This Tara Iti, it ain’t for just anybody. It’s a private club, meaning only members and their guests can get in. Used to be, you could pay a big ol’ chunk of money and play there once, but not anymore. Now, you gotta know somebody who’s a member, and they gotta bring ya.
- Big Money: Talk is, it costs a fortune to be a member. We’re talkin’ big, big money. The kind of money most folks like us only dream about. And this fella, Ric Kayne, a billionaire from America, he’s pourin’ even more money into it. He’s gonna build two more golf courses, and these ones, they say, will be open to everyone.
Now, I don’t know much about golf, but I hear this Tara Iti course is somethin’ special. People who know about these things, they say it’s one of the best in the whole wide world. They go on and on about the sand and the grass and the way the wind blows. Sounds like a lot of fuss over a game, if you ask me.
This place is over on the East Coast of New Zealand’s North Island. That’s what I heard, anyway. A long ways from here, that’s for sure. It seems like a peaceful place, though, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just you, the golf course, and the ocean. Sounds kinda nice, I gotta say.
But remember, this Tara Iti, it’s all hush-hush. They don’t want just anybody wanderin’ in. They got their privacy and they like it that way. Heard they even got a website and all, but good luck findin’ much on there unless you’re supposed to be lookin’. They talk about privacy and all that stuff.

So, that’s the scoop on Tara Iti, as best as I can tell ya. A fancy golf club, private as can be, built by a famous fella, and costin’ a whole heap of money. It’s for the rich folks, not for the likes of us. But hey, it’s a free country, I guess. They can spend their money how they want, and we can just sit here and talk about it. Makes for a good story, anyhow. And if this Ric Kayne fella builds those public courses, well, maybe then we can all get a taste of that fancy golf life. Maybe.
Anyways, that’s all I know. Don’t go quotin’ me on none of this, ya hear? I’m just tellin’ ya what I heard. Now, go on and do somethin’ useful. There’s chores to be done, you know.
Tara Iti Golf New Zealand, Tara Iti Golf Club, that’s what they call it. Sounds fancy, don’t it? And this Te Arai Golf, that’s somethin’ to do with it too, I reckon. Too many names if you ask me, but that’s how these rich folks are, always gotta make things complicated.
It used to be, you could go there, pay a big price, and play one time. A “one time experience”, they called it. You could even stay on the property. But not anymore. Now you gotta be invited by a member, stick with them like glue. Times are changin’, I guess. Rich folks gettin’ even richer and wantin’ more privacy, that’s how it always goes. Makes ya wonder what it’s all really about, all that money and fuss. But like I said, it ain’t my business. Just tellin’ ya the story, that’s all.
