Okay, so, let’s talk about this whole Temple versus UTSA thing. I was trying to figure out which one was better for me. I mean, I heard good things about both, but I needed to see for myself.

First, I started by checking out their websites. Just looking around, you know, getting a feel for the place. Temple’s website was alright. UTSA’s was kinda better organized, I felt.
Then I decided to dig deeper. I went on some forums, read what other people were saying. Some folks loved Temple, said it had a great community. Others were all about UTSA, talking about the research opportunities.
Campus Visits
So, I thought, “Alright, time to see these places in person.” I scheduled campus visits for both.
- Temple’s campus was in the city, which was cool. Lots of energy. But it also felt a little overwhelming.
- UTSA’s campus was more spread out, more chill. I liked the vibe, but it was a bit further from everything.
I chatted with some students at both places. The Temple students seemed really passionate about their school. The UTSA students were more laid-back, but they seemed happy too.
I even sat in on a couple of classes. It was tough to tell which one I liked more, honestly. Both had good professors, and the classes seemed interesting.

Making a Choice
After all that, I was still kinda torn. Both schools had their pros and cons. Temple had the city location and a strong sense of community. UTSA had a more relaxed atmosphere and seemed to have a lot going on research-wise.
Finally, I just had to make a decision. I weighed everything, thought about what was most important to me. And you know what? I ended up choosing UTSA. It just felt like the right fit for me overall. I love the big and new campus.
But hey, that’s just my experience. Temple’s a great school too. It really comes down to what you’re looking for in a college, you know? My process was far from perfect, but I did my best to see what each school was all about. Hopefully, my rambling helps someone else out there!
