Okay, so I saw this thing online about Tyrese Haliburton’s voice changing, and I got curious. I mean, I’ve watched him play, but I never really paid super close attention to his voice, you know?
First, I went to YouTube. That’s always my go-to. I typed in “Tyrese Haliburton interview” and clicked on one of the newer videos. I listened to him talk for a bit. Sounded pretty normal, I guess.
Then, I tried to find an older interview, like from when he was first drafted or maybe even in college. It took a little digging, but I finally found one from his Iowa State days.
I played that older interview and…wow. Okay, there’s definitely a difference. His voice in the older one sounded way higher, kind of…nasally? I don’t know how to describe it, but it was noticeably different.
My Little Experiment Result
- Newer Interviews: Deeper voice, more relaxed maybe.
- Older Interviews: Higher pitched, a bit more…energetic sounding?
Honestly, it’s not that crazy. People’s voices change, especially when they’re going through their late teens and early twenties. It’s just puberty, doing its thing,I guess. Maybe he’s also had some media training that taught him to do with his voice. Or, he simply got older and his body changed.
So, yeah, I did notice a change. It wasn’t like a completely different person, but it was there. Case closed, I think.
