Okay, so lemme tell you about this thing I messed with the other day – “fartass volfgangus hungary.” Sounds weird, right? Well, it kinda is.

It all started when I was bored, just scrolling through some old forums. Found a thread talking about some obscure Hungarian composer – some dude named Volfgangus, apparently. Someone had jokingly called him “fartass” and it kinda stuck in my head.
So, I thought, “What the hell, let’s see if I can make something out of this.” I fired up my old DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), you know, the software I use to make music. First thing I did was grab some samples of a fart sound. Yeah, you heard me right. I got a bunch of ’em – short ones, long ones, high-pitched, low-pitched, the whole shebang. Don’t ask me where I got ’em… the internet’s a weird place.
Next, I dug around for some classical music – something by a Hungarian composer, preferably. Couldn’t find anything by this Volfgangus guy, so I just grabbed some generic Hungarian folk music. It was free to use, so why not?
The real fun started when I tried to put it all together.
My idea was to mix the classical music with the fart sounds in a way that was, like, ironically funny. I started by chopping up the music into short loops. Then, I layered the fart sounds on top, trying to time them with the beats and melodies. It was a total mess at first. Just a cacophony of toots and violins.

But I kept at it. I tweaked the volumes, added some effects (reverb, delay, the usual), and tried different combinations of fart sounds and music loops. Slowly, it started to take shape. It was still ridiculous, of course, but it was… interestingly ridiculous.
I ended up with this weird track that sounded like a classical orchestra having a serious gas problem. The music would build up, and then BAM! A loud fart right in the middle of a crescendo. Or, the melody would be humming along, and then a series of short, staccato farts would pop in like percussive accents.
Here’s the basic process:
- Find fart samples (yeah, that part’s crucial).
- Grab some royalty-free Hungarian folk music.
- Chop the music into loops.
- Layer the fart sounds on top.
- Tweak the volumes and effects.
- Repeat until it sounds hilariously awful.
Look, I know it sounds stupid, and it kinda is. But it was a fun little experiment. And honestly, the end result is kinda catchy in a messed-up way. I even showed it to a few friends, and they got a kick out of it. Nobody asked me to play it twice, though.
What I learned:
Well, I learned that you can make “music” out of pretty much anything. And that sometimes, the stupidest ideas are the most entertaining. I also learned that some people have a really weird sense of humor… including myself, I guess.
I’m not gonna release this “fartass volfgangus hungary” track or anything. It’s just a dumb thing I did for fun. But who knows, maybe it’ll inspire someone else to create something even weirder. Go for it, I say!
