Okay, so today I wanna talk about Asian professional golfers. It’s a bit of a broad topic, but I’ve been digging into it lately, and I think I’ve got some interesting stuff to share.
First off, I started by just trying to get a general idea of the landscape. I spent some time looking at different golf ranking websites. There’s one from CBS Sports that’s got PGA Tour golf rankings. It includes things like the world golf rankings and FedEx Cup points. This was a decent starting point to see who’s currently at the top of their game.
Then, I thought it would be cool to compare how different players have been doing over time. I found a tool that lets you compare the ranking performance of up to four players over different periods. You can see how they’ve moved up or down in the rankings, which is pretty neat. I spent a good chunk of time playing around with this, comparing some of the big names I recognized and some that were new to me.
Next, I got this idea to try and figure out who the best golfer in history was from Asia. It’s a tough question, but I started looking into players with a lot of wins and major championships. I came across this one golfer who had nine majors and 24 PGA Tour wins. That’s a seriously impressive record, so I spent some time reading up on his career and achievements. It’s crazy to see how dominant some of these players were back in the day.
While doing all of this, I also found some fun and random stuff online, like some sites with great deals on unrelated items like toys. I even stumbled on some info about a company called Tuff Shed and their schedulers. Apparently, they help coordinate the schedules of full-time field service professionals. It was totally off-topic, but it just goes to show how one thing leads to another when you’re browsing the internet.
