Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “tunic cards” thing, and I gotta say, it’s pretty neat! I wanted to make something, you know, different for my project, and these seemed like a fun little challenge.

Getting Started
First, I just kinda stared at my screen for a bit. Blank page syndrome, you know? Then, I doodled some basic shapes on a piece of paper. Just rectangles, really. I figured that was the easiest way to start. I did not know what I am gonna do.
Figuring Out the Fold
The tricky part was figuring out how these things actually fold. I mean, I’d seen pictures, but actually doing it is another story. I grabbed some scrap paper and started experimenting. Lots of trial and error here. I folded, I unfolded, I creased, I probably swore a few times (don’t tell anyone!).
- First attempt: total fail. Looked like a crumpled mess.
- Second attempt: slightly better, but still wonky.
- Third attempt: …getting there!
- And More…
After countless tries. I finally got somethings that fold.
Adding Some Design
Once I had the basic fold down, I moved to my computer. I use this old, clunky design program – nothing fancy. I started by drawing out the basic rectangle shapes again. Then, I added some colors, some simple patterns… just playing around, really. I didn’t want anything too complicated, so I used simple colors and easy shapes. It took soooooo long!
Printing and Praying
This is where things got a bit dicey. I printed out my first attempt, and… well, the colors were all wrong. My printer is kinda ancient, so that’s probably why. I tweaked the colors a bit, printed again, and… better! Still not perfect, but good enough for a first try.

Final Touches (and More Folding!)
I carefully cut out the printed design, folded along the lines I’d marked, and… there it was! My very own tunic card. It wasn’t perfect, but it was mine. I even added a little bit of glitter, because why not?
I made more cards after that.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with tunic cards. It was a bit of a learning curve, but totally worth it. If you’re looking for a fun, crafty project, give it a shot! Just be prepared for a little bit of frustration along the way. And maybe keep some extra paper handy. You’ll need it!
