Okay, so today, I wanted to mess around with Yoru’s TP duration in Valorant. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride!

First off, I jumped into a custom game to get a feel for it. I started by just throwing down the tether and trying to get the timing right. Turns out, it’s 0.5 seconds, which feels both super quick and somehow manageable.
- I spent some time just throwing the tether and teleporting, trying to get a feel for the timing.
- Then, I started experimenting with fake teleports. That’s where things got interesting.
The real fun began when I started trying to incorporate this into actual gameplay. I’m not gonna lie, my first few attempts were a disaster. I kept either teleporting into a bunch of enemies or getting caught out in the open. It was a mess.
But I kept at it. I started paying more attention to the audio cues. The sound of the fake teleport is the same as the real one, so it’s all about mind games. You gotta make the enemy think you’re going one way, then hit ’em from another.
- Tried to use the TP to bait enemies.
- Used the ultimate for diversion and got a few sneaky kills.
- Tried coordinating with my teammates, but it was kind of like herding cats.
I also tried using the TP to teleport from Wine to Garden. That was a long shot, but hey, why not?
After a bunch of games, I started to get the hang of it. I realized that Yoru is all about high-risk, high-reward plays. You gotta be unpredictable. If the enemy knows what you’re doing, you’re toast.

My Observations
The key is to keep them guessing. I watched some videos of pro players, and they’re always mixing it up. Sometimes they’ll teleport, sometimes they’ll fake it. It’s all about reading the situation and making the right call. And when you get it right, it feels amazing. Suddenly, you’re flanking the whole team, and they don’t know what hit ’em.
I’m still no Yoru expert, not by a long shot. But I’m definitely getting better. It’s tough, but it’s also a ton of fun. If you’re thinking about picking up Yoru, be prepared for a steep learning curve. But stick with it, and you might just surprise yourself.
Anyway, that’s my experience with Yoru’s TP duration. Hope you found it somewhat helpful, or at least entertaining. Go out there and give it a try! But don’t blame me if you teleport into a whole squad of enemies. It happens to the best of us!
