They call it “pro scouting.” They got “special projects” and “target lists.” Sounds like secret agent stuff, but it’s just baseball, I reckon. They need help with the day-to-day stuff, too. Readin’ reports, lookin’ at information. It’s a lot of work, even if it ain’t on the field.
Now, if you wanna get one of these jobs, you gotta go apply. They got applications online, I hear. You gotta tell ’em what you can do, what you’ve done before. And you gotta be willin’ to work hard. It ain’t all fun and games, even if it’s baseball.
