Okay, so I’ve been planning to snag some tickets for the US Open 2025, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I figured I’d share my experience, might help someone out there.

First off, I started by looking into when the tickets usually go on sale. It’s a bit of a guessing game, but from what I gathered, they usually become available sometime in the spring or early summer. So, I made a note to myself to keep an eye out around that time.
Then, I started thinking about which matches I really wanted to see. I mean, do I go for the early rounds, or try to get tickets for the finals? Tough call. I decided to aim for the middle rounds, figured the competition would be heating up by then, but tickets might be a tad easier to come by.
- Checked out the different seating areas in the stadium. Let me tell you, there’s a lot to consider.
- Figured out that sitting on the south or west sides might be a good idea, you know, for the shade.
- Realized that if you’re too low and in the middle, you’ll be turning your head back and forth like crazy.
I also learned that the qualifying rounds are free. Free! Can you believe it? Apparently, it’s the week before the main event, so I’m definitely going to try to catch those. Free tennis, who can say no?
I set a reminder on my phone for 10 a.m. to be at the stadium. It turns out the matches actually begin at 11 a.m. but it’s good to arrive early.
Now, I’m just playing the waiting game. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can get my hands on some decent tickets. It’s all a bit of a gamble, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right? Anyway, I’ll update you guys when I actually manage to get the tickets. Wish me luck!

Some tips
Oh, I also remembered I should probably arrive early to get the best seats. That’s what I’ve heard, at least. And learned that with day session tickets, I can get into the USTA Tennis Center at 10 AM, and at 5 PM for the night sessions.
So yeah, that’s my US Open 2025 ticket adventure so far. It’s a process, but I’m learning a lot. Hopefully, all this planning will pay off, and I’ll be watching some amazing tennis next year!
