This here zx9r, it’s a real beast, I tell ya! My grandson, he’s always goin’ on about these motorcycles. Says this one’s a good one. I don’t know nothin’ about these things, but I hear folks talkin’. They say it’s a good bike, a real good bike.

I seen one down the road the other day. Big and shiny. That thing can move, I reckon. I remember someone sayin’ this zx9r is good for the road. Not like them other ones that is only good for the track, whatever the track is. They say it is better for most people, for the normal people, not those crazy speed demons.
- This fella, says he had five of these zx9r things. Five! Can you believe it?
- Says he’s been ridin’ ’em for 25 years. That’s a long time, ain’t it?
- He got one right after he learned to ride, a “B1” he called it, then a “C1”, and an “E1”. I don’t know what those letters mean, but he sure had a lot of ’em.
Some folks lookin’ to buy these zx9r bikes. They askin’ what to look for. Just like buyin’ a used mule, gotta check ’em over real good, I suppose. Make sure everythin’s workin’ right. They say the 2000 to 2002 models are the ones to get. Why that is, I don’t know.
They call this zx9r a “sporty sports-tourer”. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I guess it means it’s good for goin’ fast and goin’ far. Like a good horse, I reckon. Strong and steady. You can go anywhere with it. Good for a long trip.
Folks talk about these zx9r bikes all the time. They got these places online, “forums” they call ’em. Where they just talk and talk about these bikes. You can ask anything you want, they say. No need to sign up or nothin’. Just ask away. They like talking about the “technical issues”. I guess that’s like talkin’ about what’s wrong with your tractor, only it’s about these zx9r bikes.
I hear them talkin’ ’bout “wheelies”. I reckon that’s when the front wheel comes up off the ground. Sounds dangerous to me! They say it happens all the time with these 9R bikes. And they talk about a “steering damper”. I guess that helps keep it steady, like reins on a horse. They say you need one on the zx9r. For safety, you know.

Now, they say these zx9r bikes, they’re reliable. That means they don’t break down much. They can go a long, long way, like a good ol’ mule. But, the paint, they say the paint ain’t so good. Comes off real easy. Especially on the wheels. They say you see rust and chips in the paint a lot on these Kawasaki zx9r things. Just gotta keep an eye on that, I guess, if you are getting one.
I saw in a magazine one time, they tested one of these zx9r bikes. Went real fast. They said it did a “10.06 second at 138.96 MPH 1/4 mile”. I don’t know what all that means, but it sure sounds fast, don’t it? Faster than anythin’ I ever seen.
This zx9r, it’s a popular bike. Lots of folks like it. If you’re thinkin’ of gettin’ one, I reckon it’s a good choice. Just make sure you know what you’re doin’. These things are powerful. They ain’t for the faint of heart. They are fast and you need to know how to handle that, I reckon. That’s what I heard, anyways. Be careful out there, ya hear?
They say this zx9r, it’s a good “used buy”. Means you can get one that someone else owned before, and it’ll still be good. Like a good, used plow, I guess. Still works just fine, even if it ain’t brand new. Just gotta look it over good, make sure everything is in order. This Kawasaki zx9r, good bike I heard, good bike. Just be careful on those roads, they are dangerous!
