Okay, so, I wanted to get the most out of my Destiny 2 playtime this week, and I heard about this “weekly dungeon rotation” thing. I wasn’t totally sure what it was, so I did a little digging.

Figuring Out the Rotation
First, I checked the game itself. Usually, there’s something in the Director or on one of the menus, but I couldn’t find anything specific about a rotation.
So, I jumped online. I looked at some Destiny 2 forums and community pages. A lot of people were talking about it, but it wasn’t super clear at first. Finally, I figured out that the featured dungeon changes every Tuesday at the weekly reset.
My Dungeon Runs
This week, it turned out to be the Shattered Throne. I’ve done it before, but it’s been a while. I formed up a fireteam with a couple of buddies from my clan. We decided to go for the flawless run, just for bragging rights.
- First attempt: We got all the way to the final boss, and then one of us (not naming names!) got yeeted off the map by a Taken Knight. So frustrating!
- Second attempt: We were much more careful this time. We took our time, cleared every add, and coordinated our supers. It was a much smoother run.
We finally beat the boss, and everyone got their loot. I didn’t get anything amazing, but hey, it was a fun run. Plus, I helped my clanmates get the triumph for completing the dungeon, so that was cool. I really enjoy to play with them.
Looking Ahead
I learned my lesson about checking the rotation, and I plan use this to my advantage. I will look forward for new dungeons.

That’s my Destiny 2 dungeon story for the week. Hope you enjoyed it! Go out there and get that loot, Guardians!
