I wanted to watch the Chiefs game today, and I was like, “Where do I even find this thing?” I checked a few different channels and services.

First off, I figured out that if I wanted to watch the Chiefs play the Steelers, and I was not in the local area, Netflix would be the place. Yeah, Netflix! But for folks in Kansas City or Pittsburgh, it’s simpler. KCTV5 for Kansas City and KDKA-TV for Pittsburgh are airing the game. Easy peasy for them.
Then, I was curious about other games. For the Chargers vs. Chiefs, NBC is where it’s at, or you can stream it on Peacock. Just grab the Peacock app, find the Sports section, and boom, you’re in.
- Checked for the Chiefs vs. Steelers game – found it’s on Netflix nationally, or local CBS channels.
- Looked up Chargers vs. Chiefs – that’s on NBC or streaming on Peacock.
- Noticed FOX games are on or the FOX Sports App.
- Saw that NFL+ is an option for live local and primetime games.
- Found out the Chiefs vs. Broncos is on CBS, Paramount+, NFL+, and YouTube TV.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:
Oh, and for the Broncos game, it’s on CBS. You can also stream it on Paramount+, NFL+, or YouTube TV if you’ve got the NFL Sunday Ticket. It’s kind of all over the place, but if you dig around, you can find it.
I also saw that the Chiefs might play against the Texans or the Chargers in the future. That’s something to keep an eye on.
And for anyone who just wants to know when the Chiefs are playing without all the channel surfing, there’s a personalized schedule thing you can check out. It adjusts to your location and the services you have. Pretty neat, right?

So yeah, that’s how I figured out where to watch the Chiefs game. A bit of a treasure hunt, but we got there in the end!
