Okay, so, I wanted to catch the Steelers game today, and let me tell you, it wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be. First off, I started digging around to figure out where it was even being shown. Turns out, there were a few options, but it depended on, like, where you are and what you’ve got access to.

So, my first move was to check out the local CBS station. I figured, yeah, that’s a safe bet, right? And, it was playing on there! Problem solved, or so I thought.
- Then I remembered about streaming. I checked out a stream on Paramount+ because I figured, why not, I have that anyway.
- If you’re in the area where the game is actually happening, like in Baltimore or Pittsburgh, it seemed like they had it on some local channels, like ABC or NBC affiliates, which is pretty cool for the local fans.
But then I saw something about the game also being on Netflix? That was a curveball. I mean, Netflix for a live NFL game? It was only for people not in the local markets, but still, that’s new.
And then there was this whole other thing about listening to the game on the radio. I found out you could do that on SiriusXM, which, I guess, is good if you’re driving or something. They had different channels for each team’s broadcast, which is kind of neat.
Oh, and the start time! I almost forgot. It was supposed to kick off at 4:30 PM Eastern Time, but I swear these things never actually start on time. It was Saturday, by the way, so at least I had the day right.
I ended up flipping between the TV and the stream, just to see what the different broadcasts were like. They all had different commentators and stuff, so it was kind of interesting to compare. The stream had some buffering though. I think too many people were trying to watch it.

Anyway, that’s my little adventure trying to watch the Steelers game today. It was a bit more complicated than just turning on the TV, but I managed to figure it out.
Ended up finding it on a few different spots, so that was cool. Now, if only the Steelers had played a bit better…
