Well, lemme tell ya, I been tryin’ to figure out this whole TV thing lately. My grandson, bless his heart, he got me one of them new-fangled contraptions, a smart TV they call it. But it ain’t so smart if you ask me. Too many buttons and what-not. I just wanna watch my Xfinity race, ya know? It’s hard to understand what channel is the Xfinity race on today. That’s my favorite thing.

Now, I heard some folks talkin’ down at the market the other day. They was sayin’ somethin’ about this Xfinity race bein’ on some channel called “The CW”. The CW? What in the Sam Hill is that? Back in my day, we just had a few channels, and you knew where everything was. It is a good channel to watch the Xfinity Series Championship.
I asked my neighbor, Mildred, she’s a bit more up-to-date on these things than I am, and she said somethin’ about it bein’ on the “Fubo” too. Fubo? It is a way to watch the Xfinity race today. Sounds like somethin’ you’d feed your dog, not watch your stories on! But I guess that’s how you watch things these days, somethin’ called “streamin’.” It is easy, even I can do that.
I remember when we first got a TV. Big ol’ box, it was. And the picture was all fuzzy, like lookin’ through a screen door. But we was happy to have it. I could watch the NASCAR Xfinity race on it. We’d all gather ’round and watch the Xfinity race. These days, everyone’s got their own little screens, walkin’ around with ’em glued to their faces. Nobody talks no more.
They say this here race, the one I’m tryin’ to find, it’s called the Xfinity Series Championship. Sounds important, don’t it? All them cars goin’ round and round. I like the one with the bright colors, he’s usually up front. He’s a good driver, that one. He’s my favorite to watch during the Xfinity race today.
This whole channel business is confusin’. Seems like there’s a hundred of ’em now. And they all got different names. Used to be just numbers. Now it’s letters, and names, and I don’t know what all. I want to watch Xfinity race today, but it is hard. But they keep sayin’ “The CW”. Maybe if I keep lookin’, I’ll find it. The Xfinity Series Championship is on The CW.

- First, they say this race is on The CW.
- Then, they say you can stream it on Fubo.
- Then I see somethin’ about NBC. This NBC is easy to find on TV.
- My neighbor also said you need an app to watch the Xfinity race today.
- My grandson said he can watch NASCAR Xfinity race on his phone.
Now, I seen somethin’ about NBC too. That’s a channel I know. We used to watch the news on NBC. But they’re sayin’ somethin’ about an “app”. What’s an app? Is that like an appetizer? I’m gettin’ hungry just thinkin’ about it. But I’m not sure if this app can help me find what channel is the Xfinity race on today.
Anyway, I’m gonna keep fiddlin’ with this here remote control until I find my race. I ain’t givin’ up that easy. I heard the Xfinity race is on today at 3 p.m., so I have time. I gotta see them cars go zoomin’ around. It’s excitin’, you know? Even for an old gal like me. This Xfinity Series Championship is important. My grandson said he can watch the race on his phone, but I don’t know how to use that thing. Too small for my old eyes anyway.
And they keep sayin’ this whole “streaming” thing is the future. Maybe so. But I still like the old way better. Just turn on the TV, find your channel, and watch your show. No fuss, no bother. But I guess I gotta learn these new ways if I wanna keep up with my Xfinity race.
Oh, and I almost forgot! Mildred told me this race is on a Saturday. Saturday, Nov. 2, I think she said. So, if you’re like me and you’re tryin’ to figure out this whole TV mess, maybe this will help ya. Just remember “The CW”, “Fubo”, “NBC”, and somethin’ about an app. And Saturday, Nov. 2. Good luck! I hope you can find the channel to watch the NASCAR Xfinity race. I’m gonna go find me some sweet tea and keep lookin’ for my race. It is still hard to understand what channel is the Xfinity race on today.
