Today I really want to share with you guys my journey with Molly Angel. It’s been a hell of a ride, and I’ve learned a ton along the way.

So, where do I even begin? I guess it all started about a year ago. I had this idea, right? This vision of what I wanted to do, and I just dived right in. I launched the Molly Angel Project, full of excitement and a little bit of fear, not gonna lie.
First off, I spent a lot of time talking to people. I mean A LOT. Customers, experts, anyone who would listen, really. I wanted to make sure that whatever I was building was something that people actually wanted and needed. I needed to understand what they expected.
- Reached out to a bunch of folks for interviews.
- Put together some newsletters – which, let me tell you, was a whole new ball game for me.
- Listened, and I mean really listened, to what people were saying.
Key things I did:
Now, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. There were definitely some bumps along the way. One of the biggest things I had to wrap my head around was this idea of “technical debt”. Sounds scary, right? But basically, it’s like this: sometimes you gotta take shortcuts to get things moving faster. It’s not always a bad thing, you know? It can actually help you get your product out there quicker.
But here’s the catch – you gotta be smart about it. You can’t just go around taking shortcuts all willy-nilly. I developed this sort of framework, a way of thinking about when to take on this “debt” and how to manage it. Trust me, it’s a lifesaver.
One big thing I focused on was making sure there was mutual understanding between me and the people I was working with. Whether it was customers or team members, everyone needed to be on the same page. That’s how you avoid those nasty misunderstandings and keep things moving forward. I subscribed for all things change.

So, here we are, a little over a year later. And you know what? It’s been amazing. I’ve learned so much, met some incredible people, and actually built something I’m really proud of. This whole Molly Angel thing, it’s been one heck of a journey, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
And that’s my story, folks. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s from the heart. Hope you got something out of it!
