Hey everyone, so I’ve been messing around with the PBE for Set 12, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I wanted to share my experiences with you all, especially since the global release is coming up on July 31st, and this stuff hits the PBE on July 17th.

First off, getting into the PBE was pretty straightforward. I just had to make a PBE account, which was free, thank goodness. Once that was done, I jumped straight into the new Set 12 in Teamfight Tactics. They say it officially starts on the live servers on July 31st, but us PBE testers get it two weeks early. Lucky us, right?
My initial goal was to check out all the new champions, skins, and the gameplay changes. Man, there’s a lot to unpack. I spent hours trying different team compositions and strategies. It was like being a kid in a candy store, but instead of candy, it was all these cool new units and abilities.
Here’s What I Did:
- Diving into Games: I played a ton of games, trying out different strategies. Some worked, some… well, not so much. But that’s the fun of it, right? Figuring out what sticks.
- Testing New Champions: I made sure to try out each new champion at least a few times. I wanted to get a feel for their abilities and how they fit into different team comps.
- Exploring New Features: Besides the champions, I also dug into the new gameplay changes. There are over 300 new challenges, which is insane! I activated a bunch of emotes too, just for kicks.
The whole experience was pretty awesome. I felt like I was getting a sneak peek into the future of TFT. And the best part? I got to try all this stuff out before most other players. It’s like being part of an exclusive club or something.
One thing I noticed was that there were a few bugs here and there. But hey, that’s what the PBE is for, right? To find and squash those bugs before the game goes live. I made sure to report any issues I found, hoping it helps make the game better for everyone when it’s officially released.
I kept playing and experimenting, trying to find the best strategies and team compositions. It was a blast, honestly. I lost track of time more than once, just absorbed in the game.

So yeah, that’s my experience with Set 12 on the PBE so far. It’s been a ton of fun, and I can’t wait for everyone else to get their hands on it. If you’re thinking about trying it out on the PBE, I say go for it. It’s a great way to get ahead of the game and learn all the new stuff before everyone else.
And hey, who knows, maybe we’ll even run into each other in a game or two. Until then, happy gaming, everyone!
