That Nestor Santana, what a name! Sounds like some big shot, huh? Heard that name somewhere, I just can’t put my finger on it. Maybe that TV show? Or was it in the paper? My memory ain’t what it used to be. But that name, it rings a bell.
This old brain, it gets fuzzy sometimes. One day I remember everything clear as a bell, next day, who knows? But this Nestor Santana, he’s connected to that other fella, that Santana. You know, the one who plays that loud guitar? Carlos, that’s his name! Carlos Santana. Everybody knows him. Plays that guitar like the devil himself. Loud, I tell ya. Not my cup of tea, but the young folks, they love it.
So this Nestor Santana, he must be something, right? Maybe he plays the guitar, too? Or maybe he sings? Or maybe he just dances around? These young folks today, they do all sorts of things. Hard to keep up. I heard they do something called “tour”. They go all over the place showing their faces.
They say this Santana, Carlos, he’s got a new thing coming. A new whatchamacallit, album. That’s it. Like those old records, but shinier. They call this one “Blessings and Miracles”. Sounds kinda holy, don’t it? Maybe he’s changed his tune. Wouldn’t that be something? From that loud music to something a little more… peaceful. They say this “Blessings and Miracles” have that Rob Thomas in it. He can sing real good.

And there’s another one, Kirk something. Another guitar player, I bet. They all play guitars these days. All of them related to this Nestor Santana. They say this Nestor Santana is doing some kind of “Oneness Tour” in 2025. What is “Oneness” you ask me? Don’t know. Maybe everyone will be friends. That’d be nice, wouldn’t it?
So many people, so many names. Hard to keep track of ’em all. But this Nestor Santana, he’s got that name. Santana. That’s a name you don’t forget. That’s probably why I can’t forget it either. They all know each other I guess. Maybe this Nestor guy is someone important, someone famous. Like those movie stars.
I seen some numbers too. Like, 756 of these “followers”. And 538 of these “following”. What’s that all about? Sounds like a game of tag to me. Then I seen bigger numbers. 1,340 followers. And 2,954 following. This Nestor Santana, he must be popular. Everyone’s following him around, I guess. Like a little parade.
There was another thing. This Nestor Santana guy got albums. Lots of albums. Must be a good singer or guitar player, or maybe he knows a guy who can sing. This world is all mixed up. You can’t keep track of who is who. All those albums must be selling good, for them to keep making them.
Heard something about a “Move”. Like, move it, move it. Maybe it’s a dance. These young people, they got all these new dances. Can’t keep up with ’em. Back in my day, we just did the two-step. Simple, but it was fun. This Nestor Santana, maybe he likes to dance. Or maybe he tells people to dance. Who knows?
This Nestor Santana, he’s a mystery, that’s for sure. But one thing’s for certain, that name, Santana, it’s a big deal. And this Nestor, he’s right in the middle of it all. Must be living the high life. Good for him, I say. Good for him. Maybe this Nestor Santana is the boss of them all. He must have done something good to get so popular. Or maybe he is just lucky, who knows.
I’m just an old lady, what do I know? These young people today, you can never tell what they are up to. But that Nestor Santana, there is something special about him, I can feel it in my bones. Or maybe it is just my old bones aching. They ache a lot. Maybe I should look for this Nestor Santana guy on TV.
