Well, let me tell you about this DC United score thing. It’s a real head-scratcher, this soccer stuff. My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I try to keep up with what them young folks are talkin’ about.
They say this DC United, they’re playin’ against some team called Charlotte FC. October 19th, 2024, that’s what they say. Ten o’clock at night! Who plays games that late? Back in my day, we were in bed by then! They are gonna play at Audi Field stadium, that’s in Washington, D.C., I reckon.
And then there’s another one, against some Atlanta United. July 27th, 2024, at midnight! Goodness gracious, who’s gonna be awake to watch that? Mercedes-Benz Stadium, that’s where they’re playin’ that one. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
This fella, Christian Benteke, he scored two goals! One in the 81st minute, whatever that means. Sounds like he’s a good one, that Benteke. He got some big award or somethin’. They call it the Golden Boot, sounds funny.
This other website, *, it’s got all these scores and numbers. Red cards, yellow cards. It’s all a bit much for me. I just wanna know who won! They talk about DC United livescore, results, standings and match details.

- They got a schedule, too.
- Seems like they play a lot of games.
*, that’s another one of them websites. They have all those DC United results from this season, and next game on it. They said DC United playin’ some team, I can’t recall the name, on October 19th, 2024. That’s in that Major League Soccer thing.
Then there’s Sofascore. Another one with all the scores and players and schedules. They say DC United is gonna play Philadelphia Union on September 22nd, 2024. Seems like they play every few days. Busy, busy!
That Benteke fella, he’s the first one from DC United to get some special honor since some other fellas, Acosta and Rooney, back in 2018. He must be somethin’ special. They said he scored 23 goals, that’s a lot, right?
And this MLS Cup, some teams won it lots of times. LA Galaxy, they won it six times! DC United, they won it four times. Then there’s Columbus Crew, three times. Sporting Kansas City and San Jose Earthquakes, they won it two times each. Lots of winnin’ goin’ on!
It’s all a bit confusin’, all these teams and scores. But it seems like this DC United, they’re doin’ alright. They got some good players, like that Benteke fella. And they win sometimes, which is good, I guess.
I don’t know much about this soccer stuff, but I try to keep up. It’s what all the young folks are talkin’ about these days. I still think they should be home in bed at those late hours, though!
This whole DC United score thing, it’s a lot to keep track of. But I guess that’s just the way it is these days. Everything’s movin’ so fast. I just hope they’re all havin’ fun out there, runnin’ around and kickin’ that ball.

This soccer, it’s all over the place now. On the TV, on the internet. That Flashscore and LiveScore and Sofascore, always showin’ them DC United score things. Hard to miss it, I tell ya. They play against all sorts of teams. Charlotte, Atlanta, Philadelphia. All over the country they go. Must be a lot of travelin’. Hope they got good shoes, runnin’ around all the time like that!
Well, I reckon that’s enough about that DC United score business. My head’s startin’ to spin. It’s all a bit much for an old lady like me. But hey, I try to keep up with the times. Even if it’s just to know what them young folks are chatterin’ about! They sure do love their soccer, though. Can’t hardly blame ’em, I suppose. It’s somethin’ to do, ain’t it?
