Okay, so, I wanted to figure out the time difference between London and Paris. You know, just to see when it’s best to chat with folks in both places without waking someone up at, like, 3 AM.

First, I just googled “London time Paris time”. Pretty straightforward, right? I got a bunch of websites that basically do the conversion for you. I learned that London is one hour behind Paris. So, if it’s noon in Paris, it’s 11 AM in London.
- I checked out a couple of these converter sites. They had these neat little tables where you could click on a time, and it would show you the corresponding time in the other city. Really visual, really simple.
- I clicked on the 7PM in Paris. It showed me that the corresponding time in London was 6PM.
- Then I also found out that London uses GMT, while Paris uses CET. That’s why there’s a difference.
After playing around with the converters, I felt like I had a good handle on it. I even started thinking about time zones in general and how crazy it is that the world is divided up like that. But anyway, I got what I needed. Now, if I need to schedule a call with someone in London and someone in Paris, I know how to pick a time that works for everyone.
So, yeah, that’s pretty much it. It wasn’t rocket science, but it was a fun little exploration. It’s always cool to learn something new, even if it’s just about time differences!
Next time, I might dive into the history of time zones, or maybe I found out why there’s a time difference. It’s pretty amazing when you think about it.
