Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole Hoothoot thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. I’m trying to get this little owl guy, Hoothoot, to evolve. You know, like, level up and turn into something cooler. Apparently, this Hoothoot is the first step in a line of those Normal/Flying type bird Pokemon things, they call it a Generation II or whatever. I wouldn’t say I am an expert at all.

I started looking into it, and there is something about “natural selection.” Something about the environment putting pressure on these Pokemon so that only some of them make it. It’s a non-random change, which makes some kind of sense to me, you know. Survival of the fittest and all that.
Anyway, I heard that some online platform called Evolve was shutting down some features on June 5th, 2023. Like, their Stage 2 multiplayer, which I wasn’t even using, and the player profiles, I don’t care at all. It got me thinking that things are always changing, evolving, you know? Just like my little Hoothoot.
So, I started by just battling with Hoothoot a lot. I mean, fought a bunch of other Pokemon, trying to get him some experience. It was a real grind, let me tell you. We went through so many battles, winning some, losing some, the usual stuff. I made sure to keep an eye on his level, watching that number go up bit by bit.
- Battled a lot of Pokemon.
- Kept an eye on the experience points.
- Made sure Hoothoot was getting stronger.
The Big Moment
Then, finally, it happened! Hoothoot started to evolve. It was pretty cool to watch, all those lights and that transformation sequence. And there it was, my Noctowl. It felt good, like all that hard work actually paid off. A good sense of achievement actually. Now Noctowl is way stronger and cooler than Hoothoot. It’s a proper owl Pokemon now, not just a little guy. I’m pretty stoked about it. It’s been a fun little project, and I’m excited to see what else I can do with Noctowl now.
So, that’s my Hoothoot story. It was a bit of a learning curve, but I got there in the end. Just keep at it, and you’ll see your Pokemon evolve too! I figured I should share this with everyone, hope it helps. Remember, I am not an expert, but I made it!
