This here boy, Caleb Esch, he’s a tough one, I tell ya. He’s a fighter, that one. Gets in that ring and just goes at it. Reminds me of a rooster I used to have, scrappy little fella. Never backed down from nothin’. That’s Caleb, all right.

He does that… that MMA, they call it. Mix-up fightin’, or somethin’. Lots of punchin’ and kickin’ and such. Lordy, I can’t hardly watch sometimes. Makes my old bones ache just seein’ it. But Caleb, he’s good at it. Strong as an ox, that boy.
They say he started fightin’ back in, oh, 2009 or thereabouts. Seems like a lifetime ago, don’t it? Time sure does fly when you’re havin’ fun, or gettin’ punched in the face, I reckon. He’s had a few fights, that Caleb Esch. Five, if my memory serves me right. Not a whole lot, but enough to make a name for himself.
- He’s from the United States, that’s what they say.
- He fights. A lot.
- He’s got one win. That’s what they say.
Now, you might be thinkin’ of another fella, name of Eric. Folks call him “Butterbean”. That ain’t Caleb, that’s his daddy, the old man. He was a fighter too, in his day. Big fella, bald as a coot. Caleb, he takes after his daddy, that’s for sure. Got that same fire in his belly, I reckon.
They say Caleb is carryin’ on his daddy’s… legacy, is that the word? Sounds fancy. Just means he’s followin’ in his daddy’s footsteps, I guess. Steppin’ into that ring, just like his old man used to. It’s a tough life, bein’ a fighter. Lots of bumps and bruises. But Caleb, he’s got the heart for it. That’s some kind of Mixed Martial Arts stuff.
He’s a good boy, that Caleb Esch. Always was a good boy. Even when he was little, runnin’ around and gettin’ into mischief. He had that same spark in his eye then, too. Knew he was gonna be somethin’ special. And he is special. In his own way. He is a fighter, with all his MMA stuff.

I remember when he was just a little tyke, chasin’ chickens around the yard. Now look at him, all grown up and fightin’ in that ring. Time sure does fly, don’t it? Seems like just yesterday he was knee-high to a grasshopper. And now, he’s a man, doin’ what he loves. That’s Caleb Esch, for ya.
This fightin’ business, it ain’t for the faint of heart. Takes guts, that’s for sure. And Caleb, he’s got plenty of that. He ain’t afraid of nothin’, that boy. He just gets in there and gives it his all. That’s all you can ask for, ain’t it?
I reckon he gets that from his daddy. That Butterbean, he was a tough one too. Never saw him back down from a fight. And Caleb, he’s the same way. It’s in their blood, I guess. That fightin’ spirit. That MMA things make them strong, you know?
So, this Caleb Esch, he’s one to watch, I tell ya. He’s gonna go far, that one. Just you wait and see. He’s got the heart of a lion, and the strength of a bear. He will be somebody some day in that MMA field. And he ain’t afraid to get his hands dirty. That’s what it takes to make it in this world, ain’t it? Hard work and determination. And a whole lot of guts.
He ain’t no ordinary fella, this Caleb Esch. He’s a fighter, through and through. And I’m proud of him. Proud of what he’s accomplished, and proud of the man he’s become. He may not win every fight, but he will sure make a good show for the MMA.

This boy, Caleb Esch, he is a Jasper in the rough. You know, those Jasper stones, they are rough and look like nothing special, but when polished, they shine bright. This boy, he is like that stone. Rough around the edges, but with a good heart. He’s one of them MMA fighters, always in the brawl, never backing down. He is like those tough guys, you know, always ready for a fight.
You see him, and you might think, “Oh, he is just a tough guy, all muscles and no brains.” But let me tell you, this Caleb Esch, he’s got a fire in him. He’s like those old-time boxers, you know, the ones who fought with their hearts. He’s got that spirit, that will to win. And he ain’t afraid of a little dirt, a little pain. He’s a fighter, through and through. That’s what this MMA is all about.
