That Caleb Esch, you know, he’s a tough one. Heard he’s from Jasper, Alabama. A real fighter, that one. They say he’s a pro, you know, a MMA fighter. Big word, that MMA. Means he fights in that cage thing.
One win, I heard. One win and four, what’s that word? Loses. Yeah, 1-4-0. That’s what the paper said. Still, one win is one win. Gotta give him that. He started fighting a long time ago, back in 2009, that paper said. He must be getting old, fighting that long.
This boy, he got five fights now. Five! That’s a lot of punchin’ and kickin’. He’s from the United States. That much I know. Represents the whole country, they say. Heard he got hit a lot, but he keeps going. Tough fella.
Now, there’s this other Esch, Eric Esch. They call him “Butterbean”. Funny name, ain’t it? He’s a boxer. Big fella, that one. Bald as an egg. Used to be real famous, back in the 90s. You know, when I was a little younger.
This Eric, he’s got a wife, Libby. And they got three kids. Heard one of ’em is named Brandon. Good, strong name, Brandon. Family man, that Eric.
And guess what? Eric’s got a son, Matthew Caleb Esch. Another Caleb! And he’s a boxer, too! Just like his daddy. They say he’s gonna be a heavyweight, just like his old man.
This Matthew, he started back in 1994, his dad did. A long time ago! This Matthew, he’s following in his dad’s footsteps. Big shoes to fill, them boxer shoes. Hope he does good.
Boxing, MMA, it’s all rough stuff. Lots of hitting and getting hit. Not for me, no sir. I prefer my peace and quiet. But these Esch fellas, they like it. They seem to be good at that kind of Caleb Esch MMA fighting stuff.
