Today, I wanted to mess around with some website stuff, specifically with this “tyler epp” thing I stumbled upon. Didn’t really know what it was at first, but it looked interesting, so I figured, why not give it a shot?

First Steps
First thing I did was do a little digging. What is tyler epp? Is it a tool? A framework? Some kind of website builder? It turns out it’s some kind of blog platform or something like that. It was a bit confusing at first, to be honest.
Getting Started
Once I figured that out, I decided to get my hands dirty. I followed some basic instructions I found online, which was to download some files and put them in a folder. Then you are supposed to run some commands in the terminal, and boom, you have a website. Sounds simple enough, right?
The Process
So, I downloaded the files and I followed the instructions to get everything set up. It was pretty straightforward. I ran the commands in the terminal, and it started to build the website. I have to say, it was pretty cool to see it all come together with just a few commands. I’m not the best with technology, but this was pretty easy to follow.
- Downloaded the necessary files.
- Put them in the correct folder.
- Ran the commands to build the website.
Customization
After I got the basic website up and running, I wanted to try and change some things. Maybe change the colors, add some pictures, you know, make it my own. I opened up some of the files and started poking around. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I managed to change a few things here and there. I even added a picture of my cat, which was a big win in my book.
Results
In the end, I actually managed to get a pretty decent-looking website up and running. I mean, it’s not perfect, and I’m sure there are tons of things I could improve, but for a first try, I’m pretty happy with it. I even showed it to my friend who knows a thing or two about websites, and he was pretty impressed. That made me feel pretty good, not gonna lie.

Overall, it was a fun little project. I learned a few things about websites and how they work, and I got to play around with this “tyler epp” thing. It was definitely a good way to spend an afternoon. Maybe I’ll try to do more with it in the future, who knows?
