I heard they get a lot of money for winning that big race, over 11 million dollars. That’s a lot of money for one race, enough to buy a whole lot of feed for the chickens, that’s for sure.

I remember back in the day, we didn’t have fancy race cars. We had horses, and we’d race ’em down the dirt road. It weren’t as fast, but it was just as excitin’, especially when old Bessie would get spooked by a rabbit and take off like a shot.
