Okay, so I wanted to figure out the age requirement for working at a “main event.” I wasn’t sure what that even really meant, so I started poking around.

First, I typed “main event jobs” into the search bar. I figured that would give me some job postings, and those usually list requirements, right?
I scrolled through a bunch of listings. Some were for, like, actual event planners – way too fancy for what I was thinking. Then I saw some for places that host parties and stuff, like bowling alleys and arcades. That seemed more like it.
Figuring Out the “Main Event” Thing
I realized “main event” probably refers to those big entertainment centers. You know, the ones with laser tag, bowling, games, and food.
So, I started looking at the job descriptions for those places. Mostly, I saw stuff like “Team Member,” “Party Host,” and “Server.”
The Age Requirement
- Most of the jobs I found said you needed to be at least 16 years old. That makes sense, I guess, for things like working the front desk or helping with games.
- Some jobs, especially the ones serving alcohol, said you had to be 18 or even 21. Obviously, you can’t be serving drinks if you’re underage.
- If was to be a manager, of couse, I must to be older like 25, but I just want to know the base age.
So, basically, I learned that if you’re looking to work at one of these “main event” type places, you’ll probably need to be at least 16, and maybe older depending on the specific job. My searching worked!
