Your Guide to the NFL 2025 Mock Draft: Names You Need to Know Now!

Okay, so, I got into this whole NFL draft thing for 2025. It’s still way off, but you know how it is, gotta get a head start. I started by checking out who’s predicted to be the number one pick, and guess what? It’s the Tennessee Titans. They’re sitting at the top spot right now. Last time they got there was a while back.

So I dug a little deeper. I found out that the first 18 picks are already kinda set after Week 18. The rest, from 19 to 32, well, those will change based on how the playoffs go. And the Seahawks are at number 18, by the way.

Now, here’s where it gets interesting. I know things are gonna change a lot before the actual draft. I mean, there are those pre-draft events that always shake things up, and then free agency in March will totally change teams’ needs. So, I decided not to get too attached to any mock draft I saw.

I checked out a few, though, just to get a feel for where things stand now. I even found this one site, FantasyPros, that has all these in-depth profiles of the players and expert mock drafts. It’s pretty cool, but again, I took it all with a grain of salt.

I also read about some top prospects and their scouting reports. You know, trying to figure out who might fit where. It’s all guesswork at this point, but it’s fun to speculate.

And then there’s Travis Hunter. This guy’s name kept popping up. Seems like he’s a big deal, so I made a mental note to keep an eye on him.

My little plan

• Follow the rest of the playoffs closely.
• Keep an eye on any big news during free agency in March.
• Check out more mock drafts closer to the actual draft date.
• Maybe even start putting together my own mock draft, just for fun.

Anyway, that’s where I’m at with this whole NFL draft thing. It’s a long way off, but I’m already hooked. I’ll definitely keep digging and see how things develop. Who knows, maybe I’ll even get some of my predictions right! Or maybe not, but it’s all part of the fun, right?
